It's difficult to get Internet connectivity in Egypt, however we were able to get some news out to our webmaster and even upload some videos!
Women's Foil was won by Caroline Golubytsky GER (Golubitsky's wife! ) She fenced against Hatuel Dalila ISR -- the final is amazing! Golubitsky came back two times to win, and it's a great bout to watch.
Men's foil was won by Le Pechoux FRA against Cassara ITA, another great match. We will upload more of Cassara's matches, as they were very good and several times he came from behind to win.
Men's foil team came down to JAPAN versus RUSSIA -- and Japan won!
The German men's foil team withdrew from the competition, because they all got sick yesterday.
Olympic qualifying news
In other news, only two fencers per country can go to the Olympics, so it is very tough in the circuit these days, especially for Italy. They have 4 fencers in the top 10.
Germany: Joppich? Kleibrink?
